The TC256 Slope Long Cross fitting combines three tubes together into a tee-cross joint with an adjustable angle, for the through tube, of between 11 and 29 degrees. Unlike the TC255 the TC256 allows the vertical tube to pass through the top of the fitting similarly to the TC156 Ramp Slope Cross. This way it can act as a cross for a middle rail on a sloped handrail.
Common Usage
The TC256 is commonly used for building handrails and pipe structures on a slope, and ramps, where the incline may be variable. Can also be used within general pipe structures or furniture.
- TC156 Ramp Slope Cross is an alternative with a slope of 0 - 11 degrees
- TC119 Standard Cross is an alternative where the through tube makes a 90 degree cross-joint.

Which fitting size do I chose?
To select the right fitting, measure the outside diameter (OD) of your pipe and choose the corresponding size. For example, a pipe with a 48mm OD requires a D48 fitting.
We also provide fittings for 50mm aluminium tubes and 25 x 25 or 40 x 40mm square hollow section steel bar.
