Product Description
The basic function of the 101 Short Tee is to connect two tubes together at a 90-degree T-joint connection
This Tubeclamp fitting has a socket to receive one of the pipes. The other pipe slides through the slip-on section perpendicular to the socket. Setscrews (included) will create a secure connection between the pipe and the fitting.
This reduction short tee houses two pipes (not included). One pipe runs through the tee and the other pipe ends at the tee. The ending pipe should have a smaller diameter than the pipe that runs through. Please refer to the image on the left for the variations of sizing for the inner diameters of the tee to check if it matches your pipe's outer diameter.
Designed for both indoor and outdoor projects, it features our easy slip-on and tighten connection system which only requires a hex key to secure.
Common Usage
We commonly see this fitting used in railing applications. It can be used on the top of uprights to support the railing, and at the end of sections to terminate the mid-rails.
It is used to build just about any rectangular structure, such as desks, bed frames, and racking structures.
